Ramanan Venkatraman is a senior student of our dear departed Barun Kumar Pal who played a number of concerts at Matagiri and taught at Sri Aurobindo Ashram Delhi Branch.

He will play a meditative series of unaccompanied ragas on the Hansa Veena, the instrument based on the slack key lap slide guitar. Ravi Shankar himself gave the name “Hansa (Swan) Veena”.
