Radhika Samson has been an immensely talented dancer since childhood. Seeing her passion for music and dance, her parents supported her interests and initiated her into the classical art form of ‘Odissi’ dance. Radhika has received her initial training from Guru Dilip Mohapatra.

Radhika’s performances in various prestigious venues have been highly appreciated. She gained popularity and recognition amongst critics and connoisseurs, for her remarkable confidence and grace. Her capacity for envisaging new concepts and choreographies in Odissi dance has been widely acknowledged.

She is training many young talents at her school, Sadhana Academy, in New Delhi and currently is teaching for the Chhandayan Center in New York.

In this lecture demonstration she will introduce the history of the dance form and explain the various hand gestures (mudras) and the stories they convey.​ Families especially invited!
