DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nRadhika Samson has been an immensely talented dancer sinc
 e childhood. Seeing her passion for music and dance\, her parents supporte
 d her interests and initiated her into the classical art form of ‘Odissi
 ’ dance. Radhika has received her initial training from Guru Dilip Mohap
 atra.\n\nRadhika’s performances in various prestigious venues have been 
 highly appreciated. She gained popularity and recognition amongst critics 
 and connoisseurs\, for her remarkable confidence and grace. Her capacity f
 or envisaging new concepts and choreographies in Odissi dance has been wid
 ely acknowledged.\n\nShe is training many young talents at her school\, Sa
 dhana Academy\, in New Delhi and currently is teaching for the Chhandayan 
 Center in New York.\n\nIn this lecture demonstration she will introduce th
 e history of the dance form and explain the various hand gestures (mudras)
