INSTRUCTOR:
Karren Abrams, AP, YTT 200, has been a faculty instructor and student clinic supervisor at The Āyurvedic Institute, working under her beloved mentor, Dr. Vasant Lad, since 2019. She brings ingenuity and delight to her work, whether in the classroom, student clinic or as a professional healthcare writer and playwright. Karren has contributed to organizations like NYU Langone Hospital, AHRC, and Breathe Life Healing Centers, offering yoga and self-healing tools. With certifications in yoga (RYT), Children’s Yoga, Yoga for Troubled Youth, and Reiki, she also holds Level II certification in Medicinal Essence Therapy. Formerly a co-owner of a lodge and creative arts community in the Adirondacks, she led a theater company and children’s theater school. She is passionate about serving Mother Earth and all beings as One Universal Family.
