Sauro Mezzetti has been connected with Auroville and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram since 1971. In 1989 he settled in Auroville and has been associated with Project Development, the International Zone and coordinated programs for external relations with outside agencies like the European Commission for the Asia Urbs Program implemented in Auroville and Pondicherry.
