In a liminal time, as the sun’s light fades into the night sky, we will gather in the Matagiri yoga hall to journey toward coherence and stillness through full immersion into a harmonic spectrum of sound and color. This evening we welcome special guest Peter Blum, joining Adam Taylor for an evening of adventures in sound and light. They both bring an extensive collection of instruments from around the world—resonant metals and looped acoustic instruments melting into ambient, meditative soundscapes with echoes of gathered natural field recordings.
Looped nature sounds and electronically manipulated acoustic instruments deepen the immersion, holding us in a cloud of subtly shifting colorful light. And for those who choose to relax with open eyes, an emergent light experience awaits.

We have some yoga mats available, but if you have any mats, blankets or pillows you feel comfortable bringing, please do so.
Please allow time to arrive 5-15minutes prior to the start time, as placement in the room is first-come, first-serve…and it is helpful for you and those around you to settle into our shared stillness.
