Ishaan Ghosh was a child prodigy and is considered one of emerging greats in Indian Classical music. The son and disciple of the Tabla and Sitar maestro Pandit Nayan Ghosh. Ishaan is from the Farrukhabad Gharana. He is the grandson of the 20th-century Tabla player Padmabhushan Pandit Nikhil Ghosh and the grand-nephew of the flautist Pandit Pannalal Ghosh. Ishaan gave his first Tabla solo recital when he was 2 years old.
Ishaan has played with many of the great maestros of Indian Classical music such as Pandit Jasraj, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and Pandit Buddhadev Das Gupta.
Ishaan will be accompanied by Suhail Yusuf Khan.
