DESCRIPTION:\nBorn to musician parents Rhitom Sarkar\, a child prodigy\, st
 arted his study of guitar at the age of nine under Pt. Debashish Bhattacha
 rya and continued for ten years. He received advance training in sitar fro
 m Pt. Shyamal Chatterjee a disciple of Late Ustad Dabir Khan Sahib and Pt.
  Ravi Shankar. He also studied with tabla maestro Subhankar Banerjee and P
 t. Samar Saha.\n\nMaulik Mehta is a student of Pt. Samir Chatterjee. He st
 arted his early training in tabla under the guidance of his father Shri Pa
 nkajbhai Mehta.  He further continued his training under Prof. Sashikant 
 Sant - Ajrala gharana (Vidyanagar\, Gujarat).  Based out of New Jersey\, 
 Maulik has performed with various artists in the sugam\, folk and bhajan g
 enres of Hindustani music.  He is continuing his training under the guida
 nce of Pt. Samir Chatterjee and is a member of Chhandayan-New Jersey.\n$20
