 dies (CIIS)\n\nThe California Institute of Integral Studies\, founded by H
 aridas Chaudhuri\, disciple of Sri Aurobindo\, is known for being a pionee
 r in the field of Asian Contemplative and Transcultural Studies.\n\nThis S
 pring\, we launched the program in Asian Contemplative and Transcultural S
 tudies (ACTS) with the aim of teaching and researching the contemplative t
 raditions\, practices and experiences of South and East Asia as agents for
  change in the modern world.\n\nOur mission is to provide a neutral and cr
 itically conscious academic space for reflective and practical engagement 
 with the contemplative traditions\, practices and experiences of Asia for 
 scholar-practitioners interested in experiencing personal transformation a
 nd in becoming leaders who catalyze renewed meaning and wholeness in our w
 orld.\n\nThis is a 2 year online MA in East-West Psychology with a Concent
 ration in Asian Contemplative and Transcultural Studies (School of Conscio
 usness and Transformation).\n\nThe ACTS program provides students with kno
 wledge and skills relevant to many professional fields\, both inside and o
 utside the academy. Graduates from our program go on to work as:\nEducator
