From July 23rd-26th w e will gather at the beautiful Trinity Retreat Center in West Cornwall\, Connecticut.\n\nAs it is the centenary of the April 24th Darshan Day\, whe n Mother returned to Pondicherry to stay\, we are focusing on her life and legacy. Our keynote speaker we hope will be Gilles Guigan\, from the Auro ville Archives. Gilles\, along with a team of others\, have been involved in researching Mother's family history and life in Paris. As a researcher in the Auroville Archives he has carried on the legacy of Krishna Tewari i n collecting photos and stories about the founding and history of Aurovill e in a dedicated building near Town Hall and the Matrimandir.\n\n\n\n\nhtt ps://www.auroville.org/contents/1088\n\nIn 2018 many of us enjoyed the won derful retrospective on Mother's life as an artist showing her paintings a nd drawings over the years as compiled by Mandakini to benefit Acres for A uroville\, so Gilles' presentation should bring our understanding to anoth er level.\n\nOther presenters will include:\n\nTara Jauhar: Arriving in 19 44 at the age of 8\, Tara Jauhar grew up at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Po ndicherry while both Sri Aurobindo and the Mother were still alive. She sp ent nearly 30 years in close and intimate contact with the Mother. She hel ped establish two highly regarded schools in Delhi and two retreat centers in the Himalayan foothills.
